This project consisted of major selective interior finishes, millwork, bathrooms, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing demolition and removals. The ambitious timeline meant several trades worked in the same areas at once and communication a key factor in successful completion for all. Working hours were scheduled based on the daily activity of the school and the required noise levels at any one time. Door frames, fencing, lighting, and exterior playground padding were removed, salvaged, and stored with care, to be reused to meet budget constraints. Sprinkler and FA lines remained active, an abundance of caution was required to eliminate any possible inconvenience to ongoing school operations.
